This was suggested by a coworker: You should take a ten [minute break] and write a poem about the ampersand.

It is sort of tongue-in-cheek... sort of mostly.

I imagine it will move to scrapland.

I feel similarly about the semicolon, though semicolons are considerably less whimisical and a bit more blunt.

Love it!! This was fun to read XD
It took me sixteen years to learn how to draw an ampersand correctly, but now I feel pride whenever I draw one.

My friend used to write in her livejournal exactly the same way. She would start every sentence with an ampersand. Your version is much more entertaining, I must say.
